Hi, it’s Lauren here. I’m delighted to introduce you to our website and would love to share the story of how we (Levi, Julien and I) founded The Home Movement in January 2023.

At the end of 2022, an unexpected redundancy landed in my lap. As a passionate, driven, teeny-bit work-obsessed individual, I was devastated. However, I saw the opportunity to take a step back and evaluate what was important to me. What was I inspired by? What did I dream of doing? And ultimately, did I have the courage to go after my biggest career goal?

Not only did I possess years of experience successfully selling homes and inspiring teams of people to do the same, I also had many great contacts in the industry. I knew I had the experience and the network and so, I decided it was time to take the leap and launch my own company. Most importantly, I knew the perfect partners to collaborate with…

Introducing Levi Fowler and Julien Powell, founders of the highly reputable Fowler & Powell.

Three individuals equally self-driven and all incredibly ambitious to make a change in our industry, we had always connected over these same values. We decided to do something about it.

Over the course over a few intense months, The Home Movement was founded. Together, we have created an organisation with the sole ambition to shake up the industry, both for customers as well as the agents.

Empowering estate agents by enabling them, with industry-leading tools and support, to deliver the high standard that we feel is the only standard acceptable in the property industry.

And ensuring that customers working with The Home Movement receive a service like no other. Ultimately, undoing the stereotype that the industry has been associated with for decades.

Which is why our tagline is “Expect excellence.”

It’s what our clients have become accustomed to when working with us. We exceed expectations by working tirelessly to ensure a smooth process – in sales, lettings, purchases, auctions and new build projects.

One last thing I’d like to share is this… I’ve always had a dream of setting up an industry-disrupting enterprise. Levi and Julien too. It took a negative experience to give me the motivation to do it but I’m so glad it did. Don’t wait for the perfect time, the perfect time is now.
